[edit] Life At Hill AFB
Hill AFB has a long history of contracting and supporting the United States Air Force aircraft wings and military system. Located in Utah that is known to be mostly of the Mormon religion, the United States Air Force supports logistics, aircraft wings, and depots. Assignments there includes many things including long duty hours (24hrs each day and seven days a week), discipline for any apparent breach of discipline by being naked for three months (reorientation training and earn the uniform--watch out for the naked cuff strap-down and a the sergeant (she) wrote a naked song about it so we all had to repeat), facing 20mm cannon fire for pilot training, heavy winters, and lots of training time with many things a default emergency requirement due to the military aircraft. Training tasks can include a book with over one thousands tasks after you pass your basic career requirements and after advance training that is after basic training. The hours are long and the pay is short, so expect to be patriotic as the barracks smell like feet (smelly feet), as told one First Sergeant inquiring to male sexual hormone activity that was from the lack of women and long duty hours. Know Hill AFB, salute the flag, pick up all of the beer bottles in front of the medical squadron’s barracks, and try not to wear too many ribbons on your chest, since despite the desire to be special you are still at Hill.
