Hilltop Consultants is a Georgetown University student group, founded in 2004.[1] It provides pro-bono consulting services to Washington, DC non-profit organizations. [2]

The Business Strategy Challenge (BSC), a business case competition, is co-hosted annually by Hilltop Consultants and the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. The Business Strategy Challenge is the only live, non-profit case competition hosted in the United States.[3] The BSC was first hosted in 2005, and each year focuses on the management challenge of a different nonprofit organization. Past subjects of the BSC include:

  • 2006: Women in Film and Video, an organization that promotes the professional development and achievement of women in media[5]
  • 2007: Keys Inc, a non-profit organization which serves as a liaison between hotels and homeless shelters in the Washington, DC area[6]
  • 2008: Academy for Learning Through the Arts (ALTA), a charter school in DC’s public school district[7]
