Season 2007-2008 saw the appointment of local boy done good Keith Robertson as the head coach aided and abetted by former Hills stars Grant Sweenie and Alan Cahoon and former GHA star Gareth Morris. Hills is a thriving club and new players of all ages and abilities are always made to feel very welcome when they come along and join in. For the season (2007/08) the club is running four competitive senior men's teams, one competitive senior ladies team and a social senior men's team. So there is something for everyone who wants to be involved.
[edit] Associate Clubs
Hillhead Jordanhill RFC enjoys an association with Hughenden RFC. In season 2007/08 Hughenden 1st XV is competing in West Division 2
The current squad features a number of young players with a range of age group international caps and Scotland Apprentice Joe Stafford. The U-17 side is awash with talent[citation needed] building strong foundations for the club and providing a lot of good players for the senior section to call upon in the future.
