Talk:High card by suit (poker)

The original article made it seem like alphabetical order was the main convention, which really is not the case. As this page is the first hit in google when you search for "Poker High Card By Suit" (!), I thought that there should be a little more information on other conventions. Also, I read somewhere that this suit order is different in other countries. Can anyone confirm/deny? Thanks -DropDeadGorgias 15:22 30 Jun 2003 (UTC)

This article seems to be missing references such as the claim that high card by suit is "never" used to resolve a tie. I'm not saying that's not true, but I'd like a direct credible reference.153.90.194.206 (talk) 19:03, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
