Highland Park, New Zealand

Highland Park is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand, located between Howick and Pakuranga. It mainly consists of the Highland Park Shopping centre (Foodtown/Countdown/Beef on the Beach/Paperplus) and the Highland Park Home Centre (Sky City Cinemas/Burger King/etc).

Those who live in Highland Park often refer to themselves as living in "Howick", "Bucklands Beach" or "Pakuranga" and generally do not regard Highland Park as a separate suburb. This can perhaps be explained by Pakuranga College being located in Highland Park.
