There are eighteen teachers for fifth grade & sixteen for sixth grade. Four languages are offered: Spanish, Latin, German, and French. There is also a band, an orchestra, and a group of singers which practice before school. The orchestra director is Brad Butz and the band director is Michael Jampole and Ms. Dufek who helps with brass instruments. Classes taught are Mathematics, Language Arts, Foreign Language, Related Arts (Drama, Art, General Music, and Technology), Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Accelerated Math and Reading. Back at school this year is block scheduling. This means double of on class on one day and none on another. School Hours are 8:49am-3:40pm. 1 period is 40 minutes long with either a 5 or 3 minute passing period.
