[edit] Description

Hieroclash is based in Ancient Egypt hieroglyphs; it consists of a series of levels in which the player must solve puzzles featuring said hieroglyphs. It is available in English language.

The goal of this game is to prevent the game screen from completely filling with hieroglyph blocks which progressively appear on it. The player owns a total of 100 Life Points, which quickly start to decrease if the board becomes full, yet regenerate when the player manages to clear it.

[edit] Gameplay

Only the mouse is used to play. The player cannot control the blocks’ movement; however, he/she is able to interact with them by grabbing one and dragging it to another block’s position, thus exchanging them.

The way in which a block can be removed varies depending on the block type. Normal blocks vanish if three same-colored blocks are combined in a triangle shape. Adjacent blocks of the same color will also vanish. Other blocks may explode when clicking on them, rubbing them, or forming a combination near them. In this case, these blocks may have a positive or negative side-effect.

[edit] Story

The Wise Man is the best counselor in Ancient Egypt, and some of the gods feel jealous about his wisdom. The god Anubis offers him to turn him into a god if he manages to get through his Game; nevertheless, the Wise Man declines, as he knows there is some hidden intention hid within the invitation. So, Anubis curses him by turning him mute, and the Wise Man understands he has no choice but to accept the challenge. Entering the Game of Anubis, inside a pyramid, he faces several puzzle challenges, one in every room, knowing Anubis himself is waiting in the last one to challenge him to an ultimate duel. However, the Wise Man will get some help from the god Ra.

Thereby starts Hieroclash Story Mode; and during its course the player shall learn the meaning and usage of each block.

[edit] Challenge

This mode is advised for users who have already got into the Story Mode and know the ways of the blocks. The goal is to get the highest score with an increasing difficulty level. Highest scores are stored in the Albarji Productions server and can be viewed from the game.
