Hidebehind

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hidebehind is an American folkloric creature that a human may spot in the corner of their eye, but disappears upon further inspection, because it is always hiding behind something.[1]

Nobody knows what a hidebehind looks like because no one has ever seen one clearly.[2] Certain species of hidebehinds are aggressive, however, and assert themselves over territorial conquest and unknowing human intervention.
