Regarding the name of the Barrows, rather than the explanation put forward on the article, I was always led to believe that the name shared an etymology with the other local Barrows (including the fell near Keswick ) meaning promontory or any hill/ridge Slipdigby 09:35, 5 July 2006 (UTC)


Population - Can we have a confirmed population total for Heysham, as the two on the page (one from the wards and the other seemingly from the population of Morecambe and Heysham combined minus the population of Morecambe) contradict themselves. 88.108.215.218 (talk) 04:21, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
