Heubad (IPA: [ˈhɔɪbɑd]) is an Austrian traditional hay bath with more than 200 years of history. Bathers immerse themselves in hay which releases heat from biodecomposition. Coumarin compounds from the hay are said to have beneficial effects on the bathers' blood flow.
