Hessa

Hessa is an island in the municipality of Ålesund, Norway. It is the westernmost island in the municipality, and contains mostly residential neighbourhoods concentrated around the urban areas Heissa and Skarbøvik. The island has an elementary school and a lower secondary school. The mountain Sukkertoppen is situated in the middle of Hessa.
