[edit] Evacuation of East Prussia

My source is military historian Antony Beevor, if you have any better source which support your affirmations you'll have to post it. Otherwise, your changes will be removed. Best regards, --Eurocopter tigre (talk) 12:28, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

The source is Beevor, posted below in the article. --Eurocopter (talk) 13:55, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't know. Also, I don't think we have to provide the sources of our sources. :) --Eurocopter (talk) 16:09, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, i've checked. Beevor's source for that number is GARF 9401/2/96, pp.343-344. --Eurocopter (talk) 08:35, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Source for the map

I am not Molobo. Map has a source in its description which you can find on the image page.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:24, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

The map is from a major Polish publisher of scientific and educational texts. I suggest you ask the uploader for more info (date), but it looks reliable to me. Can you present a different map, presumably showing German research, that would differ? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:23, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Please don't be confused: this is not a map of results, but rather an ethnic map. I would too like to know the source of data used in the map. Btw, in related news, could you take a stab at translating German article on census into census in Germany? It is wealthy in information on historical German censuses that our English wiki desperatly needs.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:56, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
