Herman had a small driving range, made custon clubs in his shop, and gave lessons near Akron, Ohio. Although I had played golf since I was about 12, Herman was the first person to give me a lesson in 1978 or 1979. And to this day I remember several things he taught me! He was a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman! It was an honor taking a lesson for a PGA tour winner, let alone a Master's Champion! In retrospect, it means more to me today at age 45 then it did when I was 16 or 17. A true honor! Tommy Tippett
