Talk:Heritage

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Is Kinship and descent really the best article to describe genetic inheritance? Can we find something better? I'm looking for where to redirect a link in an the Blond article which refers to "nations of mixed heritage" such as the US and Canada, and kinship doesn't cut it, nor does cultural heritage. I decided to remove the Kinship and descent link because that article is mostly about anthropological views of family organizations and not about the sense of inheriting culture, which is, perhaps, more related to tradition. Also, I think biological inheritance answers my previous questions. I think that these uncertainties point to the need for an eventual article about heritage at this page about how the 'heritage' of an individual can refer to a combination of racial, cultural, and familial traits which have been passed down.
