I never collaborated with Paul Erdos, so my Erdos number is 2, not 1. Once I asked him a question and he soon provided me with an answer, and said to me "Let's write it up as a joint paper." I said "But Paul, you did all the work, I just asked the question," and I declined the opportunity. He was a very generous person.

Wilf is listed in Category:Erdős number 2, but the article says that he collaborated with Erdős. Which is it? NatusRoma | Talk 22:17, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
