I found this herring gull fledgling on the roof of the Royal Golf Hotel in Dornoch; you may recognise the roof as the setting for a lot of my oyster catcher images. It is about 10 days since it left the nest and can just about fly, but not for any great distance. It is already the same size as it's parents! |
