Hercules Chemical Company Inc. is a manufacturing company located in Passaic, New Jersey, United States. The company manufactures a variety of plumbing products targeted toward plumbing professionals.

In 1915 the company was founded by Sam Wander in New York City.

In 1994 the company moved its offices to Passaic, New Jersey.

In 1995 the company became an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company.

In 1999 purchased Cloroben Chemical Company, a manufacturer of drain cleaning products and consolidated manufacturing in Passaic.[1]

In 2003 the company earned ISO 9001:2000 Certification. [2]

In 2002 Hercules co-founded OateySCS, a supply chain organization used by plumbing wholesalers to order Hercules, Oatey, and other major brands of plumbing products from a single source. [3]
