Herbert Distel

Distel Herbert (born 7th August, 1942) is a Swiss artist and composer currently residing in Katzelsdorf near Vienna, Austria. He is known for both his sculpture and conceptual art.
His two-CD album Railnotes contains his works Die Reise (1984/1985) and La Statzione (1987/1990), an experimental opera formed from sounds recorded in an Italian railway station.
