Heosemys is a genus of turtles in the family Bataguridae. The genus Heosemys was split out of the larger genus Geoemyda by McDowell (1964).

The Cochin Forest Cane Turtle (Geoemyda silvatica now regarded as Vijayachelys silvatica) for a time was placed in Heosemys, as was the Sulawesi Forest Turtle (Leucocephalon yuwonoi) and the Philippine Pond Turtle (Siebenrockiella leytensis).
