[edit] Creation of Vincent Ferrini
If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 17:30, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] tags
Hi there. I see you are personally involved with the subject at Vincent Ferrini, and keep removing my tags questioning the notability of the subject, the tone of the article, and the request to have it reviewed by Wikipedia experts. And this you have done without explanation. I would like to pursue these questions without recommending the article to WP:AFD, but if you do not communicate with me, either on the article's talk page or on mine, I will have no choice to do so, so as to ellicit Wikipedian editors' concensus. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this. Cheers and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 18:55, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] References
Hello. Generally speaking, the References section is linked to citations in the article that look like this:
- This is a line of text that needs a reference1. Where 1 is a link to the references section.
Wikipedia automatically generates numbers when you type <ref>Reference link or bibliographic info here.</ref> directly next to the sentence or paragraph requiring the citation.
The References section should then look like this in code:
- ==References==
- <references />
All of the reference numbers line up in this section automatically!
Hope this helps out! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 19:55, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
