Other than humans, wolves are the Arbian Oryx's only predator. In captivity and good conditions in the wild, Oryx have a lifespan of up to twenty years. [1] In periods of drought, however, the Arabian Oryx's life may be significantly reduced by malnutrition and dehydration. Other causes of death include fights between males, snakebites, disease, and drowing from floods. [2]
