I used to be a systems consultant on Geospatial Intelligence systems. That's cool stuff like Google earth, except I used to program them for the Air Force. That's where I first started using Open Source software and since then I've been hooked. Recently I left this lucrative job to pursue a startup that's based on the fundamentals of open source and "wikinomics".

I enjoy skiing, sailing, jogging (when the weather is nice), and of course collaborative projects like open source and wikipedia. I was born in Gdansk, Poland but moved to the USA when I was very young. While I can speak Polish excellently I have very little practice writing in Polish, so I hope to improve my Polish by translating a few pages. Also, I minored in French in College, so I'll do some translations into French as well.

• Comparison of Windows and Linux - THIS IS IMPORTANT! People have this discussion all the time, which is better Windows or Linux and they DON'T KNOW THE FACTS! hopefully this will help.
• Comparison of Iraq and Vietnam wars - This is a frequent discussion, is iraq the next vietnam. I see a few parallels but I don't think that this is the best comparison
