Hello, Can you please give me some reffernce to Wieniawski being a Jew? Only the English Wiki put in this category for him. What is it based on?Thanks, --62.0.156.193 10:21, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Devil's sonata
Is the expression "a devil's sonata" a quote from Wieniawski himself, or does it refer to the devil's sonata, or more accurately, Devil's trill by Tartini? If this is the case, its difficulty is almost exclusively in the left-hand technique. The Russian bow grip facilitates pieces with a lot of chords, plus certain bow strokes, but doesn't make much difference in Italian Baroque music. Complainer
