[edit] Oxford Dictionayr of National Biography entry for this man
The Oxford Dictionayr of National Biography for Hentry Hall seems to imply his name was actually Reginald Holland Hall as they give his name as Hall, Reginald Holland [Harry]. Also It seems his father is unknown (his father was not registered), and the man often given as his father was simply the man his mother later married. Also his mother was Emma Holland according to the ODNB.
I would edit this but the only reference I could give would be the ODNB online which is a subscription site.
