According to at least one source, Grimes' first recording since emerging from retirement was Nile River Suite by Dennis González (recorded November 2003 and released in 2004). I've updated this article and cited a source. I'm not actually positive this one was first, but it and others would seem to precede the Ribot album by a year or two. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 21:38, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

"Grimes completely disappeared from the music scene in 1965." It had to be later than November 1966, when he appeared on Pharoah Sanders' Tauhid (according to that album's liner notes). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 04:09, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
