Didn't Pirenne also write something rather controversy-generating about the development of medieval cities? Not mentioned in this article. I'll look into it and see if I can add to this. --Christofurio 16:51, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)

Perhaps this article should focus more on the man, and a new "Pirenne Thesis" article be created?

Why is there a comma between noun and predicate here? Also, I for one have no idea what collection he donated. Medieval artefacts? illuminated manuscripts? baseball cards? --Christofurio 20:47, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
