Henry Mosley (bishop)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Henry Mosley was the 5th Anglican Bishop of Stepney from 1919[1] until 928 when he was appointed Bishop of Southwell[2]. He was born in 1868 [3] and educated at Keble College, Oxford before embarking on an ecclesiastical career with a Curacy at Bethnal Green. Further inner city posts followed[4] as he rose (via the post of Rural Dean for Hackney and Stoke Newington) to be the Suffragan Bishop of Stepney in 1919, a post he held until elevation to Southwell nine years later. He died in 1948.
