Peter Barnes, Jr. Assemblyman was appointed Chairman of the NJ State Parole Board and has been replaced by his son Peter J.Barnes III, who was an Edison Councilman whi is now representing the 18th district. I am not sure how that link would be updated. (JerZee 05:06, 30 June 2007 (UTC))

Barnes III will fill his father's State Assembly seat, allowing Mayor Jun Choi, a Corzine ally and Barnes rival, to fill the vacant Council seat with a Democrat from his own camp.
