these aren't just officer ranks? they are NCO and enlisted mens ranks to WikipedianProlific(Talk) 12:57, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

This article needs some cleaning and disambiguation. E.g. ΔΕΑ means "Δόκιμος Έφεδρος Αξιωματικός", which translates as "Probationary Reserve Officer" (PRO), and not "Δοκιμος Έφεδρος Ανθυπολοχαγός", which would mean "Probationary Reserve 2nd Lieutenant". PRO's are draftees and get promoted to 2nd Lieutenants near the end of their tour, and they are referred to in documents just as "Έφεδρος Ανθυπολοχαγός" (Reserve 2nd Lieutant), and plainly "Ανθυπολοχαγός" verbally, with no reference to their "Reserve" property. Also, the colored stripes of PROs denote their corps (e.g. Infantry, Armor etc.) and have different colors depending on that. EpiVictor (talk) 00:58, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
