This article needs an image (preferably free) related to the subject, such as a picture of the set or a film poster. A possibility for American films from before 1964 would be a screenshot from the trailer, as these are now in the public domain. A plot summary needs to be added to this film article, or the current one needs to be expanded.

I put the {{wikify}}, {{POV}} and {{tone}} templates on this article for the following reasons:

• it is not written in the required format for a Wikipedia article (see WP:MoS and Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Style guidelines). For one thing, it shouldn't start off with "Roller derby is..." but "Hell on Wheels is...".
• it does not comply with the NPOV policy (e.g.: "The story is as compelling and dramatic as the premise", "this gripping documentary", etc.)
• the tone used is not appropriate for an encyclopedia (e.g.: "Sure, it’s roller derby, but it’s not what you think")

If someone could clean up this mess so that it looks less like a critique and more like a neutral and informative encyclopedia entry, that would be great. IronChris | (talk) 04:56, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

• I have done some clean up. It still doesn't comply with the MoS as per above, but not sure if that is grounds to tag. I would not be offended if retagged if someone disagrees with my removal of the tags.--Golden Wattle ^talk 00:06, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Roller derby info should be moved to roller derby site

This page is about a film about roller derby in Texas, not about roller derby in general. Even though a brief introduction about the sport would be appropriate, this article really should focus on the film. Fredsmith2 12:35, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
