The result of the proposal was no consensus to move at this time. JPG-GR (talk) 18:51, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
It seems more appropriate for the article to be titled Helga Bullock, rather than use Bullock's maiden name. Queerudite (talk) 21:29, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose. A Google search of Helga Meyer returns responses where as Helga Bullock only returns hits for Sandra and an unrelated woman with the name Helga Bullock. Additionally, not all women automatically take their husband's name. KellyAna (talk) 21:46, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, Helga Meyer returns more hits, but many of them are a different Helga Meyer (paper machete artist). Helga Bullock has fewer hits, but the pages are actually about the Helga Bullock of this article (opera-singer and mother of Sandra Bullock). To your second point, it is true that not all women take their husband's name, but Helga Bullock did. Queerudite (talk) 04:39, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

- I'm not entirely sure. I know that there was an article written about her shortly after her death entitled "Helga Bullock" and that this was the name she used when she worked at Mary Washington. I am not sure what name she used during her professional career as a singer, though. Queerudite (talk) 23:49, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
