My mother was the FINEST big band vocalist of our time. She was also the best mother, as she took great care of me. She was NOT the prima donna's that most stars were. She was very down to earth and a very caring person. If anyonw wishes to contact me I am at scentman8@aol.com

[edit] Civil Rights Activist

The part that tells about Forrest having been a civil rights activist needs more elaboration, if possible. The paragraph goes from telling about two movies she was in, and then says, "She was a civil rights activist, as well." This sentence just stands alone, with no elaboration, and has nothing to do with the rest of the paragraph. If anyone can figure out how to better incorporate this, please do so.Slater79 (talk) 15:12, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
