Helsinki Cup

The Helsinki Cup is an international youth football tournament, held each year in Helsinki, Finland during June. It was held for the first time in 1976.

[edit] Helsinki Cup 2008
The 33rd Helsinki Cup 2008 International Youth Football Tournament will be from 6th to 12th July 2008. Participants in the competition are expected from almost 30 different countries such as Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Namibia, the Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Tanzania, Turkey, Ukraine, USA and of course from all the Nordic countries. There will be sixteen classes in the tournament, eight for the boys and eight for the girls. A total of some 800 teams is expected to take part in the tournament.
