Helio (L.U.) Fialho, CEO and founder of multiple U.S. corporations. Most famous for pioneering the first ever internet website to sell sporting goods (ShopSports.com). The website was created in partnership with the the leading West Coast sporting goods retailer, Copeland's Sports. Fialho, the Director of Operations for Copeland's, left the company in 2000 after selling it to Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill, and Co. L.L.C. Fialho went on to start the largely successful internet solutions and consulting business, Auspient, Inc. Fialho also started Uptown Jean Co., a popular denim retail chain in California. Fialho was named as one of the "Top 25 Executives" in the country by Sports Trend Magazine in 2001.
