I don't remember Godzilla losing an eye or burning his hand to the bone in this or any film, unless you count the Oxygen Destroyer, of course.

Actually both of these events happen in the film, but Godzilla's regenerative powers healed him during the film.

Dude, he starts as a tadpole and then into a frog. He jumps high and likes water. The other forms are just addons.Pikazilla 13:04, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

• His initial incarnation was tadpole-like, I can't find any reference to the land form being in any way froglike. Here's the best I could find with a quick search. --otherlleft 20:09, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] knowing his power

Godzilla most definetely lost an eye in the film when a sludge attack hit Godzilla square on the right side of his head. He also burned his hand to the bone and even stared at his hand afterwards.
