[edit] Examples getting too big

I think that the Examples section is becoming just a place to add your favorite headlines. We need something better. I'm currently trying to write a categorization of various types of headlines that occur frequently. If anyone has any objections to this, please bring them up. [edit] Letterman's "Small Town News"

Has anyone else noticed that "Small Town News" on The Late Show is a complete ripoff of "Headlines"?

[edit] Small Town News

Small Town News is not a ripoff of Headlines. Dave began doing Small Town News on his morning show on NBC (The David Letterman Show) back in 1980. The segment was regularly featured on Late Night with David Letterman throughout the '80s. Jay Leno didn't start doing Headlines until he became Johnny Carson's regular guest host on the Tonight Show around 1987. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by NIST91 (talk • contribs) 06:34, 1 March 2007 (UTC).
