[edit] Delete the Epoch Times

I don't think the Epoch Times should be considered as the second free newspaper when doing our assignment. Thus I deleted it.

[edit] Please add the reference list

As we have quoted and cited many things, please add the reference list at the end. Otherwise we'll be considered as conducting plagiarism. If you are not familiar with doing the references, please let me know which part is quoted or cited from where, then I may make a reference list.

[edit] Number of circulation

Is Headline Daily's increased circulation (of 500,000) still a third larger than Metropolis Daily's?? 0101TANGsf 23:00, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] NVOP

The explanation of Headline Daily is similiar to the ones on the webpage of Sing Tao. Is it reasonable to put it here? I mean is it telling the truth? Or is it telling what the readers think? Maybe we need to rethink about it. By 0101Zhaoh

[edit] Adding photos problem

I try to add photo onto the page but I can't get the desirable result. Is there anyone who can help me??

maybe you need to check Wikipedia:Images first. Frank Woods 11:06, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Added a part

I've put the part which was originally under 'Contents', about Headline Daily inviting readers to submit news articles for publication under a new title, which is now under 'Working with the public', coz I think this part doesn't really have anything to do with contents. Hope u guyz agree with me~ --0101YAUwsf 13:25, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

Oh no, i realised i forgot to log in for the past few times that i contributed to this site. Anyone knows how to rectify the problem? As in how to get the "history" to reflect my log in name for the parts i edited? sigh... if not my participation points will be pathetic i suppose? =p

  • Your intro needs editing.
  • Interesting section on “controversies raised”. Can add more links and references referring to news articles and research that talk about the impact of free newspapers on HK newspaper market.
  • Your subheadings can be more concise also
  • See more comments at WebCT discussion section 0101TA 15:56, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] problems with logging in

i've logged in and edited the article just now. did grammar checking for the whole article and have removed an irrelevant part from 'Impacts on paper sales and competition'. but then the history didn't show my username (0101YAUwsf). don't know what the problem was, could anyone help?

[edit] Making sure you are logged in

Make sure you see your log-in ID on the top right hand corner of the screen when you save. If the computer logs you out. Log-in again, make some more edits, then in the "edit summary" write that the above edits where made by 0101YAUsf. 0101TA 10:03, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

In response to the copyedit tag I have copyedited this article. I am not an expert so if someone who does know the subject could check the article to ensure I have not got anything wrong, that would be good. Let me know if you have any comments/questions. Kcordina 09:44, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
