[edit] Summary

Description

Heaton Park Metrolink station

Original description:

Heaton Park station 1988

The train in the distance is exiting the tunnel under a corner of Heaton Park itself. The station buildings at road level were renewed in the 1970s to a pattern common with other new buildings of the period such as Crumpsall and Brinnington.
