Heather Lewis (d. 2002) was an American writer. She was the author of three novels, House Rules (1994), The Second Suspect (1998), and Notice (2004, published posthumously).
She was born in Bedford, New York and attended Sarah Lawrence College.
Her mentor was novelist Allan Gurganus. [1] Of Heather, he has said, "The girl was every inch an artist." [[2]
She committed suicide in 2002 at the age of 40.
