Heat is a novel written by Mike Lupica and published in 2006. The story is about a young boy named Michael who is an unbelievable [baseball]] player. But there is one problem, other coaches from other teams say that he is too good to be 12 years old. With no parents, and his birth certificate is back at his native home, Cuba. Michael will have to somehow prove it and get his team to the Little League World Series if he ever wants to see his beloved Yankee Stadium.
