"Heading Out to the Highway" is a song by British heavy metal band Judas Priest off of their 1981 album, Point of Entry, released as a single later that year.
This song was featured on VH-1's Top 40 Driving Songs.
A live version of this song was included on The Best of Judas Priest: Living After Midnight, which was not endorsed by the band. Other live versions appear on the live albums Priest...Live! and Live in London.
The song contains a duel guitar solo between K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton.
