Headed for a Heartbreak is a song released as a single by the American rock band Winger, off of their self-titled debut album Winger. Released in 1988, the song charted at #19 on the US Hot 100 and #18 on the US Mainstream Rock. The B-side to the track was "State of Emergency." Although Miles Away charted higher on the Billboard Chart, at #12, many fans consider Headed for a Heartbreak to be Winger's best song.
