[edit] Purpose

This template creates an hCard microformat for a building, organisation or place, and is intended for use with a title-bar display of coordinates.

[edit] Use

The template has two parameters:

{{hcard-geo-title
|name=
|coordinates=
}}

• name = the subject's name
  • creates hCard's "fn org" class
• coordinates = a {{coord}} template (use display=title. Do not use display=inline or display=inline,title; for those, use {{hcard-geo}}.)
  • emits a geo microformat as part of hCard

}} ipsum

which may be written in one line, as:

lorem {{hcard-geo-title|name=Battersea Power Station|coordinates={{coord|51|28|57|N|0|08|41|W|region:GB_type:landmark|display=title}}}} ipsum

gives:

lorem  ‹Template:hcard-geo-title has been deprecatedin favor of Template:coord.› Battersea Power StationCoordinates: 51°28′57″N 0°08′41″W / 51.4825, -0.14472 ipsum

Note that the coordinates are displayed in the title bar. therefore, this template should only be used once per article.

When giving coordinates, please don't be overly precise.
