Haytana

Haytana Essami (Гайтана Ессамі), born on September 29, 1979 in Kyiv, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian singer-songwriter. Her music combines elements of jazz, funk, soul, and folk music. Haytana was born in Kyiv, but subsequently moved to the Congo where her father was born, for five years. Afterwards, Haytana moved back to Ukraine with her mother, but her father stayed in Brazzaville.
