Hayashima (早島町 Hayashima-chō?) is a town located in Tsukubo District, Okayama, Japan.
As of May 1, 2008, the town has a population of 12,225 and a density of 1,606.44 persons per km²[1]. This is the highest population density of any municipality in Okayama Prefecture. The total area is 7.61 km², making it the also the smallest municipality.
