Haxan Films

Haxan Films is a production company headquartered at the Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. They are famous for producing the cult classic independent horror film The Blair Witch Project. The name is taken from the Swedish/Danish 1922 silent movie Häxan, meaning "The Witch".

The company was founded by five graduates of the University of Central Florida Film Program. Also known as "the Haxan Five," the company is run by Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sánchez, Gregg Hale, Robin Cowie and Michael Monello.

The production company also produced the Fox TV Series FreakyLinks and the recent feature film, "Altered."
