[edit] Hi!

Hi Hawk, I liked the quote on your user page... "Wouldn't it be great an organization ran their physical location around Wikipedia's business model? The users define and create the experience in a given industry." I've often thought that myself... just open the doors and let people come in an work on what they want to work on, dividing up the profit among everybody who worked. But think about this: what if government used the wiki model? So, you wouldn't happen to be the Hawk I know, would you? Aelffin (talk) 05:37, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

It would be interesting if government followed a sort of Wiki model. The problem with large entities is the control issue and giving it up. I think there is a link between technological security and ignorance. Many places don't want to learn how to do things properly or look into them; thus, the movement is blocked. Hindering progress because people are not willing to learn or try is no excuse. If your user page is accurate, I don't think we know each other... hawk9698 (talk) 7 December 2007 (UTC)

True enough. I used to know a Hawk that worked at COSI (whose real name I believe was Charles), so since you'd made some edits to the COSI Columbus article, I thought it might be the same person. Anyway, take it easy. Cheers! -Nathan Aelffin (talk) 01:23, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
