Aircraft WikiProject

[edit] Description???

The first paragraph describes the 748 as "small" and "short range". When I read those words I don't immediately conjure an image of an aircraft with a 100' wingspan and a MTOW of 21,000kg with the capabililty of flying 1,700km at that weight (specs from wikipedia). I suggest these words be removed - any thoughts? It also says "was" when it is still in service. Does anyone agree that this paragraph needs a clean-up? --58.165.64.100 18:31, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

i saw your interest on the AVRO 748 and had to ask if you have any clue on how to get the 'instruction manual ' of that plane. It's meant to be a gift to somebody that flew it. By the way i totally agree to your comments about the article.
