I'm somewhat skeptical about some of the claimed current or former residents. Is there any way we can verify some of these? For example, if you google "Callan Russo", supposedly a noted writer, you get basically nothing. Djiann 16:54, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Aha! No article, no mention. I deleted all those without articles. Thanks for spotting that. - CobaltBlueTony 17:06, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

This article states a "large" partof the Sixth Sense was filmed in Havertown. To my knowledge none of it was. It was filmed nearby, but where in Havertown was any of this filmed? This was edited from "small" to "large" but should probably be deleted. Any sources? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaazmar (talkcontribs) 20:12, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

There was no part of the finished film "The Sixth Sense" filmed in Havertown or Haverford Township. There is one scene that was filmed in adjacent Lower Merion Township: the memorial wake at the home of the girl who was murdered by her mother. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.61.205.150 (talk) 23:55, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

I grew up in havertown. The story when "The Sixth Sense" came out was that the scene where the kid and Bruce Willis' character are on the bus going to the memorial wake was filmed on Darby Road in Havertown. But it has been a number of years since I last saw the movie. It could not be described as a "large" part of the film. If being in a 20 second scene of a movie is notable enough, maybe it should be mentioned that in April 1996, then Presidential candidate Bob Dole visited the town. (I was there, but here's a source http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9A03E0D61139F935A25757C0A960958260&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=all ) CatPieMan (talk) 00:44, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] the rule

"the rule is that people mentioned here must have an article of their own" Can someone give a reference to this rule in the Wikipedia help pages? Thanks217.44.176.159 (talk) 13:13, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
