Great article I always wanted to learn more about Pre Ghassanid Hauran. (besides the traditional bible records) Did the Nabateans or any other groups settle that region before the Arrival of the Ghassanids?

Is this the same place as the Arran which is mentioned in Latin sources as having a bishop in Justinian's time? Srnec 17:01, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
